Designing & building the playground

The playground has been designed with universal access in mind, following best practice guidance for inclusive play. Equipment and features are integrated throughout the play area, and at varying heights to accommodate children using wheelchairs, mobility aids, or requiring additional support. Paths and surfaces ensure smooth movement, and sensory elements add extra layers of engagement for all children.

Part of the Crystal Palace Park regeneration plan, the Dinosaur Playground is delivered by Bromley Council and Crystal Palace Park Trust, designed by HTA Design and built by Maylim and PlayEquip.
