Victoria Pinnington has been appointed as Chief Executive of Crystal Palace Park Trust. Currently Interim Chief Executive of the Horniman Museum and Gardens, she will take up the new post in June.

Plans for restoring many of Crystal Palace Park’s historic features, including the Grade-I listed dinosaurs and the Italian Terraces, have been submitted and are currently being considered.

Crystal Palace Park set to thrive following historic handover

As part of our mission to ensure that the park has something for everyone in the community, all activities will be free of charge and lots of fun.

The Trust has created a new café concession at the Concert Platform, which will be open on weekends, bank holidays and during special events. The café sits alongside the Platform by the pond, with seating on the new decking and toilets within the back-of-house area.

The Grade II listed Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Trophy has been stolen from Crystal Palace Park in south-east London.

Last week, BBC London News visited Crystal Palace Park to spotlight its £17.5m regeneration project. Crystal Palace Park Trust’s CEO, Victoria Pinnington, was interviewed about the plans to enhance our iconic 170-year-old park.

Plans for the next major phase of the Crystal Palace Park regeneration programme have been unanimously approved by the London Borough of Bromley’s Development Control Committee. Listed building consent has also been granted for the Tidal Lakes & Dinosaurs, Paxton Bust and Italian Terraces, which will enable these works to commence on site in 2025.

Summer of Play is back with another fun filled programme of creative, engaging and playful summer holiday activities for kids of all ages. All the activities in this programme are completely FREE!

Parking charges are now live in all of Crystal Palace Park’s public car parks.

The Trust is governed by a volunteer board of 10 trustees and managed by a small team of staff. The Trustees are all local people, selected for their special skills as a result of open competition, who provide their time and expertise without remuneration.
