Planning consent granted for £17.75m restoration project

Plans for the next major phase of the Crystal Palace Park regeneration programme have been unanimously approved by the London Borough of Bromley’s Development Control Committee. Listed building consent has also been granted for the Tidal Lakes & Dinosaurs, Paxton Bust and Italian Terraces, which will enable these works to commence on site in 2025.

The Trust is governed by a volunteer board of 10 trustees and managed by a small team of staff. The Trustees are drawn from the local area and selected for their professional skills via an open recruitment process. They provide their time and expertise without remuneration.

A new café for the Park (with toilet facilities during opening hours)

The Trust has created a new café concession at the Concert Platform, which will be open on weekends, bank holidays and during special events. The café sits alongside the Platform by the pond, with seating on the new decking and toilets within the back-of-house area.
