Over the last 12 months, the Trustees of the Crystal Palace Museum and Crystal Palace Park Trust have been working closely together to develop a new way forward for the museum. This work reflects our shared ambitions to open the museum more regularly for the benefit of visitors, improve accessibility through building and infrastructure improvements, and undertake a redisplay of the unique archive relating to this internationally significant heritage site.

As part of this new chapter, custodianship of the museum will transfer to the Trust. We look forward to putting the museum at the centre of our learning and engagement programme and ensuring the history of this special place is shared.

Crystal Palace Park Trust would like to thank the museum’s Board of Trustees, volunteers and supporters for their dedication over the years, with special thanks to Ken Kiss for his 40 years of leadership and passion.

We also look forward to welcoming the museum’s volunteers into our growing volunteer programme as this new chapter begins.

Further updates coming soon. Stay tuned on our social media channels and monthly newsletter, The Transmitter.
