“You were only supposed to blow the b****y doors off!”

Over the years Crystal Palace Park has been the backdrop to some iconic scenes, including the infamous scene from the Italian Job, acting as Central Park in Morbius and bringing the dinosaurs to life in Good Omens.

Crystal Palace Park is a film friendly location.

The Park is unique, iconic and can be the star of the show or a supporting artist. The park has indoor and outdoor locations that can be put to a wide variety of uses. Historical, modern, futuristic, natural, hardstanding and even a maze! You can find details about some key areas on our Things To Do And See page.

There are a number of hardstanding spaces that can accommodate large unit bases and spaces for production offices (subject to availability).

The park has access to both water and electricity in key areas and filming can take place, subject to permissions, throughout the park.

To enquire about filming in our stunning Park please contact the Events and Filming Team.

All filming and photography projects require a permit to operate in the Park. To gain a permit, the Events team need to see some minimum information which we encourage you to prepare in advance:

• key details of your proposed activity including dates, times and proposed content,

• current and valid insurance details,

• and a risk assessment

Permits usually carry a charge to cover administration and risk of hosting your activity. If your project is low or no budget, speak to the Events team directly about what's possible.
