Crystal Palace Park Trust is the new custodian of the historic and internationally significant Crystal Palace Park in south London. Our vision is to make Crystal Palace Park an outstanding modern park for London and we are thrilled that the next major step in realising this ambition is now just around the corner.

In May 2025, an ambitious, multi-million-pound capital regeneration project will start onsite with a focus on saving and restoring the park’s unique heritage assets such as the world-famous Dinosaurs and Italian Terraces, as well creating new visitor amenities including a destination playground and Visitor Centre.

We are seeking the services of a Heritage Interpreter with experience of content curation and interpretation planning, to help us capitalise on the park’s reviving fortunes and bring the incredible 170-year story of this park to life for our visitors.

Initially the key focus will be the development and delivery of a new scheme of interpretation across key sites in the park, alongside the development of digital assets and communications. The postholder will also collaborate closely with the Trust’s Events and Programmes team on our public, learning, and community engagement programme. In addition, the postholder will liaise with a wide variety of external stakeholders who are critical to successfully bringing the history(ies) of this park to life. These include the park 'Friends of' groups who are the keepers of specialist knowledge and collections, the Crystal Palace Museum, the Crystal Palace Foundation, and national strategic partners such as Historic England.

If you want to be part of one of London’s most exciting heritage projects - look no further!
