The Park is a much-loved, unique location which was designed to host events as part of Joseph Paxton's original masterplan.
As the Park's leaseholders, all events require oversight from the Trust's Events team, so we can assure the safety and welfare of everyone who uses the Park, including Event teams themselves.
When planning to gain a permit for your event, you may need to consider:
- Welfare facilities (for staff and traders as well as attendees)
- Weather (hot, cold, sunny, wet or windy, consider the potential impact to your event)
- Ground protection
- Sound management
- How the event effects members of the public (it is an open space)
- Waste management
Once you have submitted an application the team will talk to you about documentation, timescales, charges and other requirements. We’re here to help.
As an organisation we are keen to ensure that event organisers consider the environment and sustainability as key components of their event planning.
