“Working in South London Parks from 2013 I was always fascinated by the transmitter on the horizon and the sign posting of an incredible location.  I always knew about the Crystal Palace but when I moved to South London a few years ago it became one of my regular places to walk, meet friends and soak up the views.  Each time, I visited I found a new area to explore and remember very clearly a frosty December Sunday when I spotted the Concert Platform and did some research into the Trust and found that events was a key part of the plan for the Park.  This felt like an opportunity to be a part of something incredible and the next chapter of this amazing location’s history. I’m delighted to be a part of the team and the next phase!”

Olivia has over 20 years’ experience of delivering public and private events in unusual locations, from listed buildings to parks and open spaces, New Year’s Eve fireworks to private dinners and everything in between.

Working with her colleagues in the Events and Filming team, they work to bring a range of events and filming to the park and deliver free to access activities such as Summer of Play.

The Events And Filming team wants to ensure that there is something for everyone.  With safety and sustainability as key considerations in everything we do, we are keen to work with event organisers to ensure that they have the support they need to work in the park in a way that works for all.
