Following public consultation, refurbishment works will shortly begin on the public toilets near the Thicket Road / Penge Gate entrance of the Park this month.

Contractors are scheduled to begin works on the site in September 2023, refurbishing the existing toilet block through works costing £125,000. Works are expected to last approximately 10 weeks, during which time Park users can expect to see related refurbishment activity taking place in the area occupied by the toilet block.

The main toilet facilities in this location will themselves will be out of service for the duration of these works; the Trust has made provision for a number of temporary toilet cubicles in the adjacent area during this time.

Additional toilets are also available in the park’s Information Centre (manned by volunteers and open from 11am to 3pm at weekends) and at Brown & Green Life café (open 8.30am to 5.30pm each day).

Upon completion, the Trust aims to clean and manage the facilities to a high standard.
